Vesak Celebration 2023 by Amitabha Buddhist Centre

Date: 1 - 3 June 2023

Amitabha Buddhist Centre is finally back with their full-scale celebration after four years! They will be conducting a varied line-up of pujas and blessings. An inaugural Bodhicitta Art colouring contest for children and youth will also be taking place to welcome the younger crowd. Kong Meng San Phor Karj See Monastery is known for its 3-Step 1-Bow Ceremony. This practice helps to purify the mind, humble the ego and lessen obstacles along the spiritual path as you repent past misdeeds and aspires towards spiritual improvement. It is also a way to give thanks for the blessings that you have received. Other activities that will be taking place include lotus lamp offering, Thousand Buddhas Repentance Puja, vegetarian food booths, family-centric workshops, free distribution of kuehs and ice cream. Vesak Celebration 2023 by Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum

Date: 25 May - 4 June 2023

Buddha Tooth Relic Temple celebrates Vesak Day with Buddha bathing, blessings and offerings. They also conduct live steaming for their sutra chanting on their website, so that everyone can join in, even if you are unable to visit the temple yourself to gain merits and wisdom. Vesak Celebration 2023 by Thekchen Choling Singapore
Location: 2 Beatty Ln
Date: 1 - 2 June 2023

Thekchen Choling Singapore will be bringing back the Animal Blessing night this year again on 1 June 2023. You can bring your pets down to the temple anytime from 7.30 - 10pm to have them blessed by the Venerables with good health and happiness. For families with departed pets, you may also wish to bring along a photo or ash urn of the demised and request their Sanghas for a short prayer.

On Vesak Day itself, join in the fun at their family carnival that features homemade food by volunteers, games and more from 10.30am to 4pm. Other activities include Dharma teachings, pujas, and merit making offerings. More details can be found here.
