Master Hai Tao Sur Offering Powder

This Sur Offering Powder is specially concocted by Master Hai Tao who is well known for his Sur Offering practices and teachings in Taiwan. It contains three sweets (sugar, honey and molasses) and three whites (butter, milk and curd), ginseng, nutmeg, tabasheer, clove, saffron, borneol, butter oil and other pure food and precious medicinal herbs.

The resulting fragrant smoke produced when this incense powder is burnt can be offered to objects of refuge, and shared with all sentient beings.

As told by Master Hai Tao, everyone can and should do Sur Offering to bring benefits to all sentient beings and in turn benefit yourself with the accumulation of merits. Even a small offering daily will bring about immense benefits.

Please note that when offering to The Three Jewels and The Three Roots, it is advisable to practice the ritual in the morning between 5am to 9am. As for the beings in the lower realms and karmic debtors, the ritual should be done in the evening between 5pm to 9pm.
